The Dawin Hotel ★★★★

Good and clean room. Hotel has an own restaurant where you can also get your breakfast. Service was good. Hotel is in the middle of sukhumvit area. So there are lot's of restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. Next BTS station - <10 min Walk.

Due to the location the rooms towards the Street are little bit noisier, but still ok.

I've stayed at The Dawin before, and always feel particularly welcome and appreciated. The newly renovated room was sparkling clean, spacious and the bed firm and comfortable. The foyer has a cozy bar and restaurant.

Largely a great stay. Lovely room and fantastic location right in the hustle but very quiet.

If you are solo traveller do not book with breakfast included you are actually charged for two people instead buy in person. That said breakfast is average at best but good coffee. I requested a 05:30 wake up call for early flight which I did not receive. I was called at 6:20 instead asking if I booked a taxi. After much hurrying and the taxi driver absolutely gunning it fortunately made it.

Nice & clean, very friendly staff & the rooftop pool/sunbathing was excellent as very quite the 2 days I stayed so nice to chill for a few hours. Location was great for a 2 night stay as its right amongst the main area for Nana/Soi.

Room was clean and modern. Beds comfy (firm) - all of the staff were great. Really helpful and organised.Check in and out easy. Great pool area. Reliable lift. Very secure. You are right in the middle of a very fun neighbourhood! (Very lively!!) We didn't hear a peep as our rooms window overlooked the back.

Modern facilities, clean good security the staff were very friendly, great sized room and nice shower pressure. Even though the hotel is located in the red light and bar district area we couldn't hear any noise from inside the hotel which was nice.

Aircon fan started being noisy on the last night but we just advised the reception staff upon check out. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Friendly staff, good English skills, roof top pool with reasonable priced food and drinks service.

I personally didn't like the location but that was more about personal choice when we got there but if your looking to be close to the very busy "bar" areas.... Then this is a great location!

The staff was excellent friendly and very helpful. I had a small problem with the safe and the door card lock to my room. I notified The maid about this problem she notified the front desk staff and the problems were solved within 10 minutes turned out he just needed a charge. Excellent value for the money. Fun location but yet far enough from the craziness to relax.

A great place close too skytrain, subway, restaurants and bars. Nice and clean, a small swimmingpool but clean and nice. Let's join the place if you are staying 2-3 nights in Bangkok!

I would suggest the Darwin improve its tourist information capability. No brochures or general information about tour opportunities. Nearby tourist offices were closed during my visit.

The general facilities and state of the room were good.

Couldnt provide me with an iron and ironic board. That's pretty basic. Also breakfast choices were narrow.

This hotel can be perfect. But there is one thing that makes it feel bad. You can't open any window in your room. Even if you take smoking room. This actually really bad. And they don't change the sheets every day

Room clean and tidy. Good hot water. This hotel is near all the night life but still very quiet at night.

When checking in,there was a sign on the desk advising guests that the pool was closed for 2 days. We only booked two rooms for 1 night but would have liked to swim in the morning before check out. This was my 4th time of staying here and I was disappoint that I couldn't use the pool. There were no details on Booking.com about the pool being closed for maintenance when I booked. If there had been I wouldn't have booked. I asked the check in staff for a discount because no pool and that I had stayed with them 3 times before. No was the answer. I asked why and was told because you use Booking. com so no discount! I asked to see the duty manager so the check in staff went to her office. The duty manager couldn't be bothered to come to see me. As we are only customers, who pay her salary. I feel she is lacking in her duties to speak to the guests. As no discount was offered I suggested to the check in staff that they gave us a free breakfast instead of a discount. Again the staff when into the managers office and this time the answer was YES. We were given our card key so we headed for the lift. At this point the duty manger came out of her office and spoke in English to the check in staff, " Are they happy now"? It was done in a loud voice so we could hear!! The rest of the stay was good. But the duty manager has now lost me as a customer for the Dawin Hotel. I will go else where in the future, when I visit Bangkok.

The hotel reserves money from your credit card. And after paying the bill, they don’t cancel the reservation money. In my case the money is still not paid back after more than a week. The breakfast is not inspiring and the coffee taste should be better. Bed creaking.

Probably one of the best hotels in the area, surely the best on Soi 4, you can not go wrong at this place.

I had a serious issue with the hotel and contacted them on their email listed on the card. They did not bother to reply. The best review I can give is that I would never stay at the property again.
